Trek Rail 9 GX Gen 2 2023
Used I bought this bike new from the Trek store at Milton Keynes in April 2023 for £5k. It is a dark olive green colour and is a medium size Frame.
It has only ever been used for short, gentle, local bimbles in the dry and exclusively for adrenaline-free rides. After each ride it has been carefully washed, dried and stored indoors.
Genuine reason for sale. My wife keeps on at me that I am too old to be riding such a bike and that it is only a matter of time before I fall off and injure myself so for harmony in the home I am selling it.
It is in excellent condition, the only mark I can find is a very minor scratch on the handlebar.
It was serviced by Trek Milton Keynes (initial service after sale) and then by The Cycle Agents, Hitchin in October 2024 where a replacement chain was fitted and some fancy valves to improve the Tubeless set up.
Total recorded mileage is 1005 km. The recorded mileage at the last service was 903 km so that's just 102 km ridden in 7 months, hence the sale.
When it was brand new I fitted a couple of short mudguards plus a protective surround for the Kiox controller and a lanyard.
Mechanically it is also in excellent condition, I am unaware of any faults.
This model has the Bosch Performance CX motor (250 watt, 85 Nm), Kiox controller and 625 Wh battery. It's a powerful motor with a long range battery.
Comes with the original charger, original 2 battery compartment keys, spare new inner tube to carry (just in case) and beware spare replacement chain. Plus all paperwork and the gubbins you get with a new bike.
Specifications should be available on-line. I'm not particularly technical but happy to try to answer queries about the spec if need be - apparently it has good shocks!
