Boardman HYB 8.9e 2020

Boardman HYB 8.9e 2020

Used Boardman hybrid ebike with Fazua 50 mid drive motor, bought new from Halfords in 2020. Also included is a 2nd battery (These cost over £400 each new). Each battery has been charged 49 times and the bike has done 3800 miles, averaging 40 miles on each commute with typically 20% battery remaining when I got home. Fazua state batteries should have at least 60% capacity after 500 charge cycles so these are barely used. I upgraded the stem (Ritchey) , bars, grips (Ergon) and seat (Selle Diva) for a more comfortable upright riding position and no numb spots. I also added mudguards. This is a great bike, but no longer needed. I've had the cassette and chain replaced about 2k miles ago as part of a service, so it is due another replacement. This is very light for an ebike, less than 16kg, and one of the few ebikes you can genuinely ride without power assist (e.g if you ran out of juice) and not feel like you are trying to haul a motorbike. You can remove the battery and motor and fit a cover so it can be ridden even lighter (not sure why anyone would do this, but it's a feature of Fazua powered ebikes)
